For this project, I created an animated promo video for a quirky Kickstarter product: the Perfilador de Patillas, a tool designed to help users achieve perfectly trimmed sideburns. The challenge was to go through the entire motion design process, from concept to final animation. I started by creating a pitch deck that included a styleframe, script, and storyboard, followed by an animatic with voiceover. Once approved, I moved on to the final animation phase. I wanted the promo to reflect the product’s playful and rock 'n roll vibe. What better way to do that than by featuring Elvis Presley, the king of sideburns himself? To capture the Kickstarter’s humor and DIY spirit, I used a collage-style cut-and-paste aesthetic, giving the video a bold, handcrafted feel that resonates with the product’s fun and practical approach.
